Inner War: To Rest or To Work?
The “𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭” of not being productive enough is normal.
The “𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞” to work you feel within is also normal.
Instead of trying to suppress it and end up procrastinating, hating yourself for it; what can you do when you face this conflict within?
Feeling unproductive & feeling bad about it?
We have different seasons in a month, in a week, or even in a day. There will be days I can show up with 120% energy and days I can only muster up 60% energy.
Should you quit or keep holding on?
All along, quitting signifies failure to me and with it, there’s shame. I never gave myself permission to quit things that I no longer like and I would judge myself. However, to what extent do we hold on to things that no longer serve us?
How do you celebrate success?
I am often wary about celebrating success and allowing myself FEEL successful, being afraid that something might go wrong if I become too happy or "full of myself".
Lessons I learned when I felt like I failed
If you feel that you have failed in some way or the other, know that you are not alone. You are seen.
3 things you need to STOP doing to achieve your dreams
I decided it was time to change. I do not want to be stuck in this cycle anymore and blame myself for not achieving goals that mattered deeply to me. Enough was enough. I stopped doing these 3 things to help me achieve my goals.
