The downside of being super productive
Whenever there’s a window for a break, I shall make “full use” of it. Being productive is my jam. Yet, there’s a price to pay.

When I experience negative emotions, I would find ways to move past them, to not think of them because I felt that these emotions weighed me down. When I can’t do that effectively, I blame myself for being not strong enough.
A capable woman’s blindspot when striving for her goals
It was one of those evenings when I was scrolling through my feed and saw an acquaintance celebrating her business milestone. As I see her talk about her journey and milestone, I felt small.
Do your emotional triggers go on vacation?
I took a long break last week and had a really good time resting and recuperating by the beach. A funny thought came to mind, I could physically go on a holiday. Do my emotional triggers go on vacation too? It was a passing thought that I found amusing.
Are you being kind or just being nice as a leader?
Delivering results as an individual is simple. Things changed when I have to deliver results through other people.
How can I truly rest?
At the end of the day, you feel heavy, and sometimes, guilty for not being productive or not resting well enough.If you are feeling this way, you are not alone. There are ways to help you rest better.

Being a manager and a trainer, I have heard the above multiple times. Some of them are extremely bright, hardworking, and know their business at the back of their hand.

As I conduct performance reviews for my team and receive my own, I reflected upon my inner journey in receiving feedback. Growing up, I learned to brush off praises and compliments.
