Panic to Peace: Lessons from Travel Turmoil
Asking βWhyβ repeatedly while you are stressed is often very unhelpful. Especially when things did not happen as per your expectations.
I disagree with this saying
I no longer agree with this one-size-fits-all thinking and there is a more empowering way to thrive.
When you stop comparing, you start seeing yourself
Do you tend to measure up yourself with others and compare if you're doing well?
Build your non-comparing muscle and start developing confidence from within.
Is it really okay to go slow?
Energy rises and falls. Seasons change.
Be aware of your season and choicefully craft your priorities
Are you afraid of being too ordinary?
I thought ordinary was not good enough, until I realized how my pursuit of extraordinary is holding me back from doing things that I like and feel joyful about.
Your 100% fulfilling career doesnβt exist
Stop chasing only the βfeel goodβ factor in your career.
It may result in you constantly focusing on the grass on the other side which is always greener.
What can you do instead?
Holiday is not your ultimate answer
Are you caught in a ππ’ππππ’π‘ β πππβππππ β ππ’ππππ’π‘ β πππβππππ - ππ’ππππ’π‘ cycle?
You may have lots of fun during your holiday, but you feel dreadful shortly after coming back to work. You then plan and look forward to the next getaway.
Are you canceling & limiting yourself?
How are you limiting yourself in your mind?
You may have an idea of βwho you areβ and βwho you are notβ. And, we often live up to the image we have in our mind.
Strictly adhering to this will limit your opportunities and hold you back, making you feel stuck.
What to do on low-motivation days
No one is motivated all day, every day. Instead of procrastinating or blaming yourself for not being productive, what can you do instead?
